Hello everyone,
On Saturday, 10/27, someone broke into my car while I was shopping and stole my sister's laptop. Though this is going to cause a huge financial problem for us, what is more upsetting to my sister is the loss of all the photos from the last five years that she had stored on her external hard drive & laptop. We are contacting family members & work friends to try and find ways to replace pictures form some of the events & trips we experiences with them. Has a part of the great fandom that's come to be known has the Supernatural (SPN) Family, I was hoping that maybe we could ask some of you to help in the process of replacing her missing memories.
Among the lost photos were all of the photos she's taken at the Supernatural Conventions we've attended the last 4 years. Creation Entertainment's Salute to Supernatural LA Con '10, LA Con '11, San Francisco Con '11 and Burbank Con '12. She had thousands of photos that she's taken of the panels, karaoke parties, and decorations of the stage and halls from all of these conventions. I know that known of your pictures would be the same has her's (given we all have different sets, us being silver & different panels that we enjoy more then others) but they would allow her to rebuild the digital (and I going to make physical hard copies) scrapbooks of the weekends. Weekends where she made some new friends, re-bonded with her sister and shared her love for this great show with thousands of new "family" members.
So here is the question .. would anyone who also attended these conventions be able to e-mail, or send in some other form, copies of some of the photos you may have taken at the conventions? Feel free to send has few or has many has you wouldn't mind sharing. None of the photos will be posted anywhere, this truly is just a project to help replace her lost memories of these weekends.
E-mails can be sent to emegie2006@yahoo.com, or if you would prefer to send them some other way leave comment here, e-mail or contact me on twitter @viviantanner and we can talk.
Please any help in this would be greatly appreciated, so feel free to re-post this, tweet this or share the link. The more we can spread the word the easier it might be to help her replace some of what was stolen.
Thank you in advance for any help you can give,
Robin W. (VivianTanner)
